The Skill Development Centre is being established with the objective of empowering youth, women, and underprivileged sections of society by providing practical, employment-oriented skills. The centre aims to bridge the gap between education and livelihood by offering structured training programs aligned with current market and industry needs.
The centre will provide short-term and long-term skill-based courses such as tailoring and garment making, computer education, digital literacy, spoken English, electrical and basic technical training, handicrafts, beauty & wellness, entrepreneurship development, and other vocational skills. Special focus will be given to school dropouts, unemployed youth, women, minorities, and economically weaker sections.
The Skill Development Centre will be equipped with modern training infrastructure, including classrooms, practical labs, computers, sewing machines, training tools, and learning materials. Qualified trainers and industry-experienced instructors will conduct the training programs to ensure quality education and hands-on experience.
In addition to technical skills, the centre will also focus on soft skills development, personality development, financial literacy, work ethics, and self-employment guidance. Career counseling, placement assistance, and support for self-employment and small enterprises will be provided wherever possible.
Through this initiative, the Skill Development Centre aims to promote self-reliance, sustainable livelihoods, and socio-economic development of the community, contributing positively to nation-building and inclusive growth.
